In 1997 CMS INC. expanded its horizons by introducing a new line of coating equipment to the coil coating industry, primary paint coaters for steel, aluminum and galvanized. We have taken great strides to provide our customers with precision coaters with the latest advances like closed loop feedback of roll nip pressures for wet film thickness control. Brush Unit


Model CM-1202-BU

Features:

  • 12"diameter 3M Scotch-Brite Brush Rollers. Roll assemblies shuttle perpendicularly from strip, by a hydraulic motor and gear rack, for ease of roll change.
  • Hydraulic roll to strip actuation with gear-screw fine adjustment
  • Stainless Steel Headers with plastic nozzles
  • Completely enclosed with removable Stainless Steel guards
  • Dressing bar is fixed position and can be replaced as needed
  • Two hard chrome plated back-up rolls are provided
  • Serfico automatic gravity fabric filtration system

Vertical Chemical Coater

Features:

  • Forward or Reverse application to strip
  • Optional Shuttle head design
  • Quick release split bearing housing on applicator roll allows for faster roll changes
  • Quick release spring loaded drive shaft couplings are used on all rolls
  • Coater head and roll positioning via precision linear bearing track system
  • Optional Servo actuated nip control with load cell nip-pressure feed back for closed loop control
